TARGET
"We have an essential mandate to protect 30% of the world's land and sea by 2030, to prevent the mass extinction, the slow the warming of our planet."
“...We are still losing nature to profiteering, corruption, conflict — including land that is already protected on paper. These efforts matter, but they're not enough. We need cultural change."

THE
ANTHROPOCENE
The Anthropocene is the current geological era where humans have become the dominant force reshaping Earth's systems—comparable to natural catastrophes like ice ages. Starting with the Industrial Revolution and accelerating since the mid-20th century, we've altered the atmosphere (burning fossil fuels), climate (melting ice caps), land (clearing forests), oceans (pollution and acidification), and caused mass extinction at rates unseen since the dinosaurs. Our impact is so profound that it's literally being embedded in Earth's geological layers through plastic, radioactive particles, and CO₂ spikes—meaning future geologists will see evidence of our era in the rock record millions of years from now.
ARTIST
STATEMENT
As an artist committed to nature preservation, I've always been captivated by the beauty of botanicals and insects—from delicate flower petals to intricate butterfly wings to the iridescent shimmer of a beetle's exoskeleton. These creatures exemplify nature's creative genius and are far more than small beings to be overlooked; they play critical roles in sustaining life on Earth.
I am deeply concerned that we are losing entire ecosystems to greed and corruption. I created this collection to amplify the urgency of climate change and inspire everyone to live consciously, recognize their individual impact on the environment, and embrace their role in safeguarding our planet for future generations.
We face interconnected crises: fossil fuel combustion pollutes our atmosphere, industrial waste contaminates our water, agricultural chemicals degrade our soil and poison our food, and chemical pesticides kill critical pollinators. These cascading actions trigger climate change, biodiversity loss, and serious health consequences for both humans and wildlife. These are human-created issues that can be stopped if we stand together. Governments worldwide knowingly allow this destruction, yet their complicity does not define our fate. IF WE STAND TOGETHER, WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE!
About

Exhibition Overview
"Beauty on the Brink" bridges the gap between aesthetic contemplation and environmental urgency. This exhibition invites you to explore visual narratives designed to spark dialogue and inspire action. The collection features paintings that include the top ten things most at risk from climate change, offering a visual reckoning with the specific ecosystems, species, and natural systems facing the greatest threats. It encourages reflection on our relationship with the planet and urges proactive engagement in preserving our world. By taking action in daily life and working with local and federal governments, we can protect public health and safeguard our natural environment for future generations.
The clock is ticking.
